The falcon’s Latin name is Falco and they are part of the bird
family.
Dynamics
Falcons will wait for the other birds to go down and eat, then
they swoop down and try and kill the bird while it’s busy eating.
Description
Falcons have long tails, pointy wings, long sharp claws and a
short tail. They can be different shades of brown with little bits of grey.
Habitat
They live in countries all around the world as well as all
over New Zealand. They like to be up in high places so they can watch the other
birds for hunting.
Diet
Falcons will eat the eggs of other birds and they eat meat or anything
they find.
Some falcons are endangered so try not to harm them. Leave them
alone and look at them but don’t get too close.
